Saltery Bay Park is located on the north shore of Jervis Inlet. There is excellent scuba diving and an opportunity to view Canadas only underwater mermaid statue. Mounds of seashells on the beach indicate that this was an old historic native camping ground. Salmon fishing is productive from April through late fall. The campground is approximately 1 km north of Saltery Bay ferry terminal on Hwy 101, 27 km south of Powell River.
